KNR Design Studio focuses on residential architecture, including new homes, whole-house renovations, rebuilds, additions, and remodels throughout Silicon Valley. Our design is driven by aesthetics, everyday-usability, and personalization. We work closely with the site and environment to design a functional, beautiful, and energy efficient house that expresses our clients' taste and personality.
Process
We start each project by learning about your goals, expectations, and lifestyle to craft a home that is uniquely tailored to you. KNR Design Studio will work with you through all stages of the project, from initial research and feasibility studies, through design, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration. We will represent you at planning commissions, appeals boards, and neighborhood architectural review boards. We will also perform regular construction site visits, to ensure that your vision is translated accurately into a reality.

Principal
Kendra Rosenberg is the principal designer of KNR Design Studio. She has over 18 years of design experience spanning luxury hotels, high-end residences, and modern and traditional houses. Kendra is passionate about creating beautiful and elegant designs that are highly functional and uniquely tailored to her clients. She holds a Masters in Architecture and a Certificate in Building Science from the University of Southern California, where she won multiple awards for her architectural designs. Kendra is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED® Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C) and an associate member of American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Community
KNR Design Studio believes in giving back to the community. Kendra currently serves as Vice Chair of the Palo Alto Architectural Review Board (ARB), reviewing design of all commercial, industrial and multiple-family projects. She was a founding board member of The Magical Bridge Playground in Palo Alto, providing her expertise to develop a playground site for children of all abilities. She has also repeatedly designed for the Dreams Happen playhouse fundraising event, supporting Rebuilding Together Peninsula.
